01Start with the setup that fits
Use the setup wizard if you want help making a first deck, open Voice Studio if familiar audio is the priority, or jump in with built-in categories and customize later.
- Choose a starting path on the welcome screen.
- Open Parent Mode for editing and settings.
- Exit Parent Mode before handing the device to a child.
02Open and leave Parent Mode
Press and hold the small parent control in the upper-right area of a kid-facing screen, then complete the parental gate. A persistent Exit Parent Mode control remains available while editing.
03Create cards and record a familiar voice
Cards can include an image, video, spoken word, prompt, sound effect, or no media. Voice Studio is the fastest way to record across many built-in, custom, or Bible cards.
- Save changes before leaving a card editor.
- Use parent prompt, praise, and correction recordings for a more familiar experience.
- If a recording is missing, the app may fall back to text-to-speech.
04Audio or imported media is missing
Open Parent Mode and use Media Health to find broken or unavailable files. Re-record the item, replace it, or restore from a known-good exported library.
05Back up custom work
Custom family content is stored locally. Use Libraries → Export Now to save a backup through Files, iCloud Drive, or another supported destination. Verify exports before replacing a device or removing the app.
